WHO WE ARE

Stand for Haiti (also known as KanpeHaiti) is a non-profit founded by Jean and Sylvia Rebecca and based in Charleston, SC. Stand for Haiti is a resource hub designed to surround the Haitian people with a community of support and resources used to educate, empower, and strengthen the infrastructure of Haitian communities and allow them to become self-sufficient.

Since the beginning, more than 250 volunteers have contributed in some way to help. Most of our projects are continuous and on-going, but we have completed more than 20 live-changing programs. We have gathered more than 800 buckets of urgent care items like bags of beans and rice, hygiene products and medical supplies and have delivered them to the people in Haiti.

We currently sponsor 17 students to give them an education. 80 students and parents are in our Education Literacy and Life Skills program.
